Use Braking Lab with a browser agent

Explore plans and open race, telemetry, setup and Vault workflows with WebMCP in supported previews.

WebMCP lets a compatible browser assistant discover tools on the Braking Lab page you have open. It is an experimental feature in enabled previews. You can still use every page normally in a browser without WebMCP.

Unlike the Race Engineer MCP connection, these tools belong to the open website. You do not need to configure a separate MCP server to try them. Sign in to Braking Lab before asking the assistant about your personal data.

What you can ask

  • On Pricing, compare the public Basic, Plus and Ultra plans, then open the account form or a plan review. You enter your own credentials and confirm any continuation to Stripe. The assistant never handles your card details or completes a purchase.
  • On Pitwall → Calendar, ask about upcoming personal races or prepare a new race. The assistant opens a prefilled form; you review and save it.
  • On Track Notes, find a notepad or open a blank new-notepad form. You choose the track and save it yourself. An open form with unsaved input is not replaced by another assistant action.
  • On My Sessions, find a session, open its telemetry, select a lap or compare two laps from that session.
  • On Car Setups and Vault, find an item and open it for inspection. Setup comparison is available for compatible items in the visible library.

Personal tools operate on the current page and its loaded items. Some lists show only the current filtered or paginated view. They return short metadata, not telemetry samples, setup files, private note text or Vault storage paths. If you switch pages, the old page’s tools disappear. Team telemetry is outside the personal browser tools.

Try it

  1. Open an enabled Braking Lab preview in a browser assistant that supports WebMCP, such as the Codex in-app browser.
  2. Sign in if you want to use personal tools, then open the relevant page or tab.
  3. Ask, for example, “Show my next races and prepare one for Saturday,” or “Find my Spa setup and open it.”
  4. Review any form, comparison or checkout in the normal Braking Lab interface before taking the final action.

Availability depends on both the browser and the preview’s WebMCP setting. A tool may be unavailable while a page loads, when access to a feature is restricted, or when the requested item is outside the current list. For broader data analysis and supported account operations across pages, use the Race Engineer MCP connection.
