Best Practices

Building Useful Notes

  1. Be specific - “Brake at the 100m board” beats “Brake early”
  2. Update regularly - Refine notes as you improve
  3. Focus on feel - Note what the car should feel like
  4. Include mistakes - Document what NOT to do
  5. Use consistent format - Develop your own template

Maintenance

Keep your notepad valuable:

  • Review notes before each race week
  • Delete outdated information
  • Archive notes for tracks you no longer race
  • Consolidate duplicate notes
