Braking Lab started from a simple frustration: I couldn't find a good way to practice brake modulation outside of racing sessions.
The story
Like many sim racers, I spent hours perfecting my racing lines, doing lap after lap after lap. But I kept losing time in the braking zones — inconsistent initial pressure, poor trail braking, releasing too abruptly, not maintaining a consistent pressure threshold, etc.
The problem? Even though I was applying theory correctly and improving little by little, I was investing too much time in practice. There was no way to isolate and practice just the braking. Every practice lap came with the mental load of the full track and the pressure to set a good time.
I wanted something simple: connect my pedals, see a target brake curve, and practice matching it. No sim running, no track loaded — just focused pedal work. And since it didn't exist, I built it.
Braking Lab is the tool I wished existed when I started my journey as a 'serious' virtual driver in iRacing and LMU. It's designed to help you build muscle memory for brake modulation so that when you're on track, your feet know what to do.

I've been designing and developing software for 15 years. About half as long as I've been playing racing games first and simulators later. I race mainly in iRacing (sports car and formula) and LMU, with occasional stints in Assetto Corsa EVO and Rally.
I have a (humble) YouTube channel where I share my progress and learnings in my journey as a virtual driver in iRacing and LMU. I also share tips and tricks based on my own learnings and anything I think might be useful for other sim racers.

Privacy first
Your training data stays on your device by default. Cloud sync is optional, but you're always in control. If you decide to delete your account, all your content will be permanently deleted.
No fluff
Braking Lab does one thing well: brake training. No bloat, no unnecessary features, no distractions.
