Brake Training
Brake against a target
Pick an exercise and follow its curve with your pedal. You see your trace over the target while you brake, and you hear when you press too much or too little.
Free Practice
Short reps, one technique at a time
A rep lasts a few seconds. Repeat it until the movement is automatic, then take it to the track.
-
Exercises by technique and by car
Threshold, trail braking, hold pressure, brake + throttle and more. The car collections give you the braking zones of GT3, GT4, Formula, Prototype and Touring cars.
-
Almeida Racing Academy collection
Exercises made by the Almeida Racing Academy coaches: soft trails for high-downforce cars, heavy stops for low-downforce cars, and rotation braking.
-
Your own exercises
Start from a template, draw the curve point by point, or turn a braking zone from your laps into an exercise. 5 custom exercises on Basic, unlimited on Plus and Ultra.
-
Live feedback
Your trace appears over the target while you brake. The number turns green inside the tolerance, and a tone tells you if you press too hard or too little.
See and hear every rep
The target comes toward you. Your pedal draws behind it, and the screen tells you at once if you are inside the tolerance.
- The live value turns green inside the tolerance and red outside it
- A tone plays while you brake: higher above the target, lower below it
- Slow the target to 0.5x or 0.25x to learn a new shape
- After each rep: your score, time in zone, and average and maximum deviation
- Gentle Release 📉 Trail Braking
Slowly release the brake from 100% to 0% over 3 seconds. Learn the basic trail braking motion.

Brake Training FAQ
Which sims does Brake Training work with?
All of them. The exercises read your pedal in the browser, so the sim does not matter. The planners, telemetry and Race Preparation are built for iRacing and Le Mans Ultimate.
Is Brake Training free?
Yes. Every ready-made exercise is free on Basic. You can also save 5 custom exercises on Basic, and as many as you want on Plus and Ultra.
What is the difference between Brake Training and Brake Master?
Brake Training is free practice: you choose any exercise and repeat it as often as you want. Brake Master puts exercises in tracks, with stars, a Braking Rating, licenses and leaderboards.
