This Legal Notice is published in compliance with Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) and identifies the provider of the Braking Lab website and service.

1. Provider Identification

Provider: Roberto Díaz Bartolomé (sole trader / autónomo). NIF: 71655922-C. Registered address: Calle Vázquez de Mella 75, 6º D, 33012 Oviedo, Asturias, Spain. Contact email: hola.rdiaz.racing@gmail.com. The provider operates as an individual entrepreneur and is therefore not entered in the Commercial Registry; this is in accordance with Spanish law for individuals carrying out economic activities under their own name.

2. Purpose of the Site

The website at brakinglab.com is the marketing site for Braking Lab, a brake-training and telemetry-analysis service for sim racers, and the application is operated by the provider at app.brakinglab.com. The site offers free informational content (features, blog, tools), free planners (iRacing and Le Mans Ultimate) and links to the paid Service. Subscriptions are sold through the application and processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited.

3. Terms of Use and Subscription

Use of the Service, including paid subscriptions and the Founding Membership, is governed by the Terms of Service published at brakinglab.com/en/terms. Those Terms include the EU 14-day right of withdrawal (Art. 102 TRLGDCU), the express waiver applicable to digital services started before the withdrawal period elapses (Art. 103.m TRLGDCU), the refund policy and the auto-renewal and cancellation rules. By creating an account or contracting a paid subscription you accept those Terms.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

The processing of personal data through the Service is described in the Privacy Policy at brakinglab.com/en/privacy, which covers the categories of data collected, processors and subprocessors used (including Supabase, Cloudflare, Railway, Stripe, Sentry, PostHog and the AI providers you optionally connect), the legal basis under Articles 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR, retention periods (including the 6-year fiscal retention required by Article 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code) and how to exercise your rights as a data subject. 5. Liability

The provider takes reasonable measures to keep the site operational, accurate and free of harmful code, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors. The provider is not liable for damage caused by force majeure, malicious third-party action, or by browsers or operating systems used by the visitor. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only; the provider is not responsible for the content, availability or practices of those sites. The Service is for sim-racing training and entertainment; it does not constitute professional driving instruction or safety advice.

6. Intellectual Property

All content of this site (texts, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio and video clips, downloadable software and underlying source code), unless otherwise stated, is owned by the provider or used under licence and is protected by Spanish and international intellectual-property laws. Reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation in whole or in part requires the prior written authorisation of the provider, except for the limited uses permitted by law (e.g. private copy, citation). "Braking Lab" and the Braking Lab logo are trade marks of the provider. iRacing® and other trade marks referenced on the site belong to their respective owners and are used solely for descriptive purposes; the provider is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by those parties unless expressly stated.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law. For consumers resident in the European Union, the courts of the consumer's place of residence shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the use of the site or the Service, in line with the Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (TRLGDCU). For all other users, the courts of Oviedo (Asturias, Spain) shall have exclusive jurisdiction. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
