May 2026

v0.99.6 May 6, 2026

Teams polish and billing reliability

  • Smoother re-invitation flow — Re-invite a former teammate with a different role, no extra steps.

  • Tidier seat handling on Ultra changes — When an Ultra owner cancels or downgrades, team seats are released cleanly across the system.

  • Cleaner team management UI — Timestamps respect your language and timezone, and several keyboard navigation and screen-reader labels were tightened.

  • Faster team-join links — The team invite preview (/join/CODE) is now rate-limited and snappier.

  • Reliability under the hood — Hardened team takeovers (Stripe-aware on multi-step flows, race-safe on simultaneous attempts), smoother renewals, and ~40 new automated tests covering these paths.

v0.99.5 May 5, 2026

Telemetry hardening and UX polish

  • No more upgrade-prompt flash — When reloading a page as a paid or founding member, the “Upgrade plan” CTA no longer briefly flashes before your subscription finishes loading.

  • Lap search reliability — Track and car name filters with special characters like % and _ now match literally instead of acting as wildcards, so a search like “100% attack” returns what you’d expect.

  • Sturdier first-load — Fixed an error that could appear when looking up optional account data on initial load; the app now silently returns empty instead of failing.

  • Telemetry screens polish — Typography, spacing and micro-interactions tightened across the desktop telemetry views, so the analysis flow feels a touch more refined.

  • Reliability under the hood — Sweeping cleanup of the telemetry layer with broader automated test coverage, so future updates are far less likely to break what works today.

v0.99.4 May 4, 2026

Brake Master ratings, license-regression banner and exercise UX

  • Brake Master ratings fixed — BR can now climb all the way to 3000 (was silently capped around 2580 for A-license users), license-ups celebrate at the right moment, and streaks now respect your local time instead of UTC.

  • New “below your highest license” banner — When your BR drops below the floor of your highest-ever license, the banner shows you exactly how many BR you need to recover.

  • Best score shown before you start — When retrying an exercise, the rich pre-Start screen now displays your best score and stars so you know what to beat.

  • Click an exercise → straight to the runner — No more bare preview screen; you land on the full UI with target, duration, tolerance, audio controls and live brake input.

  • Username privacy on leaderboards — New setting to be ranked anonymously while staying on the leaderboard; opted-in users keep their current visibility.

  • Locked exercises explain themselves — Clicking a locked exercise now shows a hint about what unlocks it.

  • Cross-device improvements — Your all-time best streak persists across devices, and the retry queue self-heals if it ever locks out from a transient network issue.

  • Polish — Leaderboard card shows your real-time license, decay toasts no longer fire spuriously after offline progress, and faster page loads via vendor-chunk caching.

v0.99.3.2 May 3, 2026

Sim Planner fixes

  • iRacing Sim Planner — Fixes and improvements across Series, My Content, My Series and Smart Buy.
v0.99.3.1 May 3, 2026

iRacing integration consolidation

  • iRacing integration — Fixes and improvements that consolidate the iRacing connection and data flow.
v0.99.3 May 2, 2026

Public sharing polish + per-share OG images

  • Sharing flow polish — Small fixes and improvements across the public sharing surfaces for datapacks, hardware setups and track notes.

  • Hardened security — Tokens minted with stronger entropy, a per-IP rate limit on the crawler-facing endpoint, and a dedicated meta-only RPC so view counts only reflect real human visits.

  • Per-share OG images — Every shared datapack, setup and track note now generates its own 1200×630 link-preview image with kind-aware design — so links shared on Discord, Slack, X or iMessage land with rich, contextual previews instead of a generic site card.

April 2026

v0.99.2.1 Apr 30, 2026

iRacing connection resilience

  • iRacing connection — Transient iRacing API outages no longer disconnect you. The app retries on its own and shows a temporary banner while the data API recovers, instead of forcing you to reconnect.
v0.99.2 Apr 29, 2026

Settings overhaul, Rolling Start presets, and iRacing connection upgrades

  • Settings overhaul — The Account tab is split into focused cards (Profile, Security, Danger Zone) and grouped under clearer sections.

  • Profile card — Inline username editing with live availability check and an explicit Save button; email shows a tooltip explaining it’s read-only.

  • Cleaner integrations — Removed duplicate iRacing and telemetry cards; manage iRacing from Sim Planner and storage usage from the Data tab.

  • Standing-start lead-in — All standing-start presets (Practice, Progressive, Pro) now hold cruise revs for 1.0–1.5s before ramping, so the launch starts when YOU decide to go, not the instant lights go out.

  • New Rolling Start preset — Hold 5% throttle while F1 lights advance, floor it the moment they all go out. Pure reaction-time test (1.2s, beginner).

  • New Rolling Start - Launch preset — Same 5% cruise + lights mechanics, but with a guided 5%→100% ramp curve to follow on the live chart. Scored on how closely you trace the launch profile, not on reaction time (intermediate, 3.0s).

  • Reaction runner polish — The Ready screen now matches the regular brake/throttle runner (curve preview, gamepad status, Configure controller button), and the input bar is buttery smooth thanks to a native 60 Hz RAF loop.

  • Race Calendar — Share an iRacing race even when you’re not connected: clicking Share now starts the iRacing connection and reopens the share dialog automatically when you come back, instead of showing a disabled menu item.

  • iRacing connection — Faster, more reliable post-login experience: connection state is now shared across the whole app via a single source of truth, so the URL-token handoff happens exactly once and the UI updates immediately everywhere.

  • iRacing connection — Returning from iRacing now lands you back on the exact tab and view you were on (e.g. Calendar view inside Pitwall) instead of bouncing to a default tab.

  • User menu — The avatar in the top-right is now a real dropdown with Settings and Sign out, instead of a plain shortcut to Settings.

  • Polish — Translated validation messages, better empty states, and consistent section eyebrows across all settings surfaces.

v0.99.1 Apr 27, 2026

Memberships section + billing polish

  • Memberships — A new section under Settings → Billing lists every team you hold a seat in, with the price your owner pays for you, and lets you leave a team yourself without contacting support.

  • Billing polish — Clearer payment-method card, post-checkout recovery if the webhook is delayed, Founding status highlighted on the success page, and the Ultra plan no longer shows as buyable when you’re already on it.

v0.99.0 Apr 27, 2026

Founding plan available for a limited time

  • Founding plan available for a limited time — Subscribe to Ultra during the beta window and lock in a permanent discount that survives renewals, upgrades and future price increases.
v0.98.0 Apr 23, 2026

Pitwall — your unified race-prep home

  • Pitwall replaces Progress as the home surface — One page, two tabs: Progress for training insights and Calendar for race planning. Everything you need between sessions without bouncing across routes.

  • Progress tab — Training heatmap, inactivity warning, upcoming race readiness, honest delta stats, score progression chart, recent activity feed and exercise breakdown, all on a single scroll.

  • Customize the Progress layout — A new Customize menu in the top-right header lets you hide and reorder the Score Progression, Exercise Breakdown and Training Activity sections with checkboxes + ↑ ↓ buttons. Your layout persists and syncs across devices when you’re signed in.

  • Training Activity heatmap — now 6 sources — The 365-day grid merges practice exercises, captured laps, completed races, Brake Master sessions, track note updates and coaching reports into a single intensity score. Hover reveals the per-source breakdown; the filter in the card header groups them as Exercises (practice + Brake Master) or Activities (laps + races + notes + coaching).

  • Weekly and Monthly progression modes — The Score Progression chart gains a three-mode toggle in its header: Sessions (default), Weekly and Monthly averages. Pick the cadence that matches how you read your own progress.

  • Calendar tab — The race planner now lives inside Pitwall: WeekStrip, This Week with a frequency column, Upcoming, Special Events and a Series Browser. Filter by sim (iRacing / LMU / all) and by follow state (Racing, Watching, or everything).

  • Lap Analysis moves into Telemetry — Analyzing a lap no longer means leaving the Telemetry page. It’s a dedicated tab alongside your desktop-captured laps, with the Garage61 Import Lap flow right there. Legacy /analyze links redirect automatically.

  • LMU follow state syncs to your account — Series you follow in Le Mans Ultimate now persist server-side when signed in, so Racing / Watching marks follow you across devices — same as iRacing follows already did.

  • Auth gating with rich previews — Nine routes now require sign-in, but with realistic previews behind the prompt that show exactly what you’ll unlock. No more blank redirects.

  • Onboarding aligned with the new structure — Welcome and premium carousels, product tours and the in-app help manual have all been re-threaded around Pitwall and the new Telemetry + Lap Analysis layout.

  • Motion polish — A shared motion kit powers a subtle stagger entrance on list pages and a crossfade when toggling between sub-views (Vault and beyond).

v0.9.2 Apr 23, 2026

Pitwall + G61 Lap Analysis docs

  • Pitwall docs — New documentation section explaining the unified Progress + Calendar home, the Series Browser and how LMU follow state now syncs to your account.

  • G61 Lap Analysis docs — New page covering the Garage61 CSV import flow and how Lap Analysis now lives as a tab inside Telemetry, next to your desktop-captured laps.

  • Race-preparation CTAs point at Pitwall Calendar — Every “plan your race” entry point across the landing (hero, features, FAQs) now deep-links to the Pitwall Calendar tab instead of the retired Schedule route.

  • Legacy URL shims — Old /schedule and /analyze marketing links keep working; they now redirect to their Pitwall / Telemetry homes so shared links and blog posts don’t 404.

v0.97.7 Apr 22, 2026

Broadcast Multi-Race cards + calendar multi-select share

  • Broadcast Multi-Race cards — The Multi-Race and Multi Pre-Race share cards now ship in the same broadcast aesthetic as the single-race HUD: ticker, hero stats, race-engineer chrome. One style, one look across the family.

  • Share multiple races from the calendar — Select 2-5 races directly from the Race Calendar and export one combined card. Use the new bulk action in the table view or the multi-select mode in the calendar view — same result, whichever surface you live in.

  • LMU multi-share — Le Mans Ultimate events now support both single and multi pre-race sharing straight from the calendar. No iRacing OAuth required; the card picks up your LMU profile name, DR and SR automatically.

  • Sim badges on the calendar — Every race chip shows which sim it belongs to (iR, LMU or the first three letters of any other sim you track). A new Sim filter in the month header narrows the calendar to one sim at a time.

  • Smarter share gates — Share actions are now disabled when they can’t complete, with a tooltip that explains why: “Connect iRacing to share this card” replaces the previous empty dialog for users without an iRacing OAuth session.

  • Share Studio focuses on retrospective — The Pre-Race card flow moved out of Share Studio and into the calendar. The Studio now hosts only the curated cards: License, Race Result, Multi-Race (past), Season Summary, Driver Profile.

v0.97.6 Apr 21, 2026

Redesigned Pre-Race & Post-Race Share Cards

  • Post-Race HUD — A polished result card with podium-aware accent, brand iRating, SoF and a full footer row. CAR cell always renders and SR formatting works across both iRacing API scales.

  • Pre-Race HUD from the Calendar — Every imported race on your calendar can produce a share card in one click. RaceDetail dropdown, RaceTable row menu and the calendar view all wire into the same polished HUD dialog.

  • LMU branding — Le Mans Ultimate events render with the LMU logo, race duration and cross-sim track maps for shared circuits like Spa, Le Mans and Sebring.

  • LMU manual race share — New post-race share flow from any LMU calendar event: pick a track from the catalog (automatic circuit map on the 19 tracks with an iRacing twin), switch between 1:1 and 9:16 formats, and fill only the per-race fields. Tracks without a mapped twin surface a “map coming soon” hint so you know what the export will look like.

  • 1:1 and 9:16 formats for every share surface — Both iRacing and LMU dialogs now expose the same two-button format selector (feed vs. story) with matching styling. Pre-Race defaults to 9:16; Race-Result defaults to 1:1.

  • PNG export — Share cards download as lossless PNG instead of WebP, so they preview correctly in Discord, Windows Photo Viewer and every social pre-upload tool.

  • Full-screen Preview — A new Preview button opens the final PNG at native resolution in a new tab, so you can inspect typography and layout before downloading.

  • Accent Color Picker — Personalize your pre-race card with 6 curated swatches (Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, Purple, Orange) or pick any hex via a custom color input. Your choice persists across sessions. Race-result cards keep podium color semantics.

v0.9.1 Apr 18, 2026

LMU Planner filter fix

  • LMU Planner — “This Week” filters — Tier and car class chips now actually filter the daily, weekly and special races on the “This Week” tab. Previously only the search box applied there, so selecting a class like LMDh left the list unchanged.
v0.97.4 Apr 17, 2026

LMU Sim Planner

  • Le Mans Ultimate Planner — Full bilingual planner surface on brakinglab.com with championship schedule, weekly tracks, daily races and per-track pages for LMU

  • Racing vs Watching — Follow LMU series separately as either racing (you’re competing) or watching (you’re spectating) — the two states coexist and filter independently in the app

  • Single-row FilterBar — Taxonomy chips, status toggles, Reset and Sort now fit on a single desktop row even with filters active; icon-only Reset and Highlight Free free up the horizontal space

  • Better empty state — Clearer messaging and a one-click Clear filters shortcut when no series match the current filters

  • Cross-sim planner — The Sim Planner in-app switches seamlessly between iRacing and LMU through a single surface
