1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Braking Lab (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
Braking Lab is a free, browser-based brake training application for sim racers. The Service allows you to practice brake modulation using your racing pedals, import telemetry data, create custom exercises, and track your progress.
3. User Accounts
You may use Braking Lab as a guest without creating an account. If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not: (a) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; (b) use the Service to transmit harmful code; (c) interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Service; (d) use automated systems to access the Service without permission.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create (custom exercises, training data, notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content solely to provide the Service to you. You may delete your content at any time.
6. Intellectual Property
Braking Lab and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Braking Lab and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party services, including but not limited to Garage61 for telemetry import and iRacing for content synchronization. iRacing® is a registered trademark of iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC. Garage61 is a trademark of its respective owner. These third-party services are provided by their respective owners and operators, and your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of these third-party services. Any issues arising from the use of third-party services should be directed to the respective service providers.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Braking Lab is a training tool and does not guarantee improvement in racing performance.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Braking Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Madrid, Spain.
