The Corvette C8.R brought Chevrolet's endurance programme into the mid-engine era, following the same layout change as the eighth-generation road car.
Competition background
The C8.R debuted at Daytona in 2020. Antonio Garcia and Jordan Taylor won there in its second race, followed by the programme's first one-two at Sebring. It was the fourth racing Corvette built by Pratt & Miller during its partnership with General Motors.
