# Sessions & Laps

> How to browse, filter, and explore your telemetry sessions and individual lap data.

The **Sessions** view is your entry point to telemetry analysis. Every iRacing session synced from Capture appears here, organized by date.

## Sessions Table

The sessions table shows all your uploaded sessions with key information at a glance:

| Column | Description |
|--------|-------------|
| **Date** | When the session took place |
| **Track** | Circuit name and configuration |
| **Car** | Vehicle driven |
| **Type** | Practice, Qualifying, or Race |
| **Laps** | Number of completed laps |
| **Best Lap** | Fastest lap time in the session |

### Filtering Sessions

Use the filters above the table to narrow down your data:

- **Track** — Filter by a specific circuit
- **Car** — Show only sessions with a particular car
- **Date range** — Focus on a specific time period

### Sorting

Click any column header to sort by that field. Click again to reverse the order. This is useful for quickly finding your fastest sessions or most recent uploads.

3. **View the track map** to see the [racing line](/en/docs/telemetry/track-maps)

## Tips

- **Focus on clean laps** — Filter by valid laps to avoid skewed analysis
- **Look for consistency** — Small deltas between laps indicate consistent driving
